12th Contracting Squadron will be requesting proposals from interested
vendors for the Base Fuels Management contract. The scope of work is as
follows: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools,
materials, supplies, supervision, and all other items and services
necessary to provide aircraft refueling service to include requisition,
receipt, storage, issue, quality, and accounting of petroleum fuels and
cryogenics at Randolph Air Force Base TX. Contractors will be required
to follow fuels safety guidelines in accordance with Air Force
Instructions and comply with OSHA standards. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The
government contemplates a basic contract period commencing 01 Oct 2000
through 30 Sept 2001 plus six one year options, for a total period of
performance not to exceed 84 months. The government will utilize best
value source selection procedures and will evaluate all option years
when awarding the contract. The procurement will be conducted on an
unrestricted basis under full and open competition. All responsible
sources may submit an offer. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is

approximately two weeks after solicitation issuance. It is the

release of any future solicitation. Interested sources are responsible
