Under full and open competition procedures, the Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, intends to procure Regional Business Support (RBS) services, in the areas of professional, administrative, technical, information technology, and financial services. Services will primarily support the Southwest Region (California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma) for the Navy, including other Department of Defense and Federal agencies. FISC-SD will be the RBS management office. The proposed contract will be Time and Material, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity. The Government intends to award a single contract, however the government reserves the right to award multiple contracts when it is most advantageous to the Government. Multiple Awards are identified in FAR 16.504(c) with task order procedures in FAR 16.505(b). SIC is 8744 (Facilities Support Management Services), with a size standard of $20 Mil. This is a new requirement and is not considered a follow-on contract. Services include but are not limited to the following areas: Administrative and Clerical support services, such as reviewing and processing medical records, personnel assistant tasks, and key entry operator tasks; Professional and Technical support services, such as drawing and documentation services, engineering and technical services; Information Technology support services, such as computer programming services, computer integrated systems designs, computer facilities management services, and computer maintenance and repair; and Financial support services, such as accounting services, auditing services, and budgeting services. The period of performance will be a Base and Four 1-Year Option Years. The Base Year performance period is anticipated to commence on or about 01 July 2000. Advance planning for the RBS was solicited under N00244-99-R-0204. Interested sources who were included on the initial source list under N00244-99-R-0204, will automatically be incorporated into a source list under RFP N00244-00-R-0028. The solicitation will be released on or about 08 March 2000. A pre-proposal conference has been scheduled for 21 March 2000, from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M, and will be held in San Diego, at the Fleet Training Facility (FTC) auditorium (specific instructions to FTC will be included in the solicitation).
