This contract will be for a total 2080 hours. This contract will be for a base year plus 2 option years. This work will be in cooperation with under the general guidance of the Corps Park Ranger, one fully trained, certified, armed and uniformed officer shall patrol the spillway in full support enforcement of state, local and legally posted law and restrictions. The St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Dept. is the only known source for this type of service. The Bonnet Carre Spillway is completely within the jurisdiction of the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Dept. Therefore, they are the only source of additional law enforcement services. Request for this solicitation shall be submitted in writing within 10 days of this publication.
