joynerjc@navair.navy.mil. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM)
intends to negotiate an order under Basic Ordering Agreement
N00019-00-G-0193 with FLIR Systems Inc. (FSI) to provide a reliability
and maintainability study of the AN/AAQ-22A SAFIRE and AN/AAQ-22C STAR
SAFIRE systems and provide training for UH-1N AN/AAQ-22C FLIR systems.
The contractor will analyze AN/AAQ-22 FLIR system failure and repair
data then produce a report that provides, but is not limited to, actual
failure analysis/corrective actions, repair turnaround time (TAT), cost
per repair, GFE repair status, test procedures, preventive maintenance
performed during repair, mean time between failures (MTBF). The
contractor shall develop and present instructional material to
introduce the AN/AAQ-22C to UH-1N instructors. All training and related
material shall address organizational level operation and maintenance
and apply directly to the UH-1N AN/AAQ-22C configuration. The training
shall be a stand-alone course and address all aspects of system
theory, specifications, controls, operation, performance, and
maintenance. The contractor shall develop and deliver a course outline
prior to the training. NAVAIRSYSCOM plans to award the order to FLIR
Systems Inc., 16505 SW 72nd Avenue, Portland OR 97224. Interest in
subcontracting opportunities should be directed to FLIR Systems, Inc.
