This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside and only responses from small business concerns will be considered. The magnitude of construction is between $5M and $10M and the construction period is 365 days. Bonding will be required for this acquisition. Lomaland Basin is located in SE El Paso, in an urban area adjacent to Hillcrest Middle School. The construction consists of a 700-foot long homogeneous earthen embankment approximately 32-feet high and a 50-foot wide concrete spillway notch; concrete slope protection and 12-inch gravel are used for upstream and downstream slopes. Baseline "A" consists of concrete trapezoidal channel approx. 1100 ft. long, maximum bottom width 50 feet, side slopes of 1V:2H; segmental retaining wall (SRW) system with soil reinforcement & concrete floodwall located on left side of concrete channel; at exit of concrete channel is grouted riprap section. Utilities include removal/relocation of water, sanitary sewer, gas and misc. utilities along Cornelius Dr. Baseline "B" inlet structure consists of 2,800 ft. long underground storm drain w/four surface grated drop inlets at street intersections, lengths of 42", 66", 84", and 90" RCP and 7'x5' CBC. Utilities include removal/relocation of water, sanitary sewer, gas and misc. utilities along Lafayette Drive, Yermoland Drive and Tarrant Road.
