The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment,
supervision, transportation and disposal necessary to RENOVATE eighteen
(18) kitchen units. These kitchens are divided into two types; Eleven
(11) Model A, and seven (7) model B type kitchens. The difference
between the two models is that Model B type includes the renovation of
an ADJACENT 50 SQUARE FOOT PANTRY ROOM. Only one kitchen may be
renovated at a time. The contractor shall be allowed two weeks to
demolish and renovate to completion each kitchen before moving on to
another unit. Work includes removal of existing base cabinets, wall
cabinets, stainless steel sinks, and range stove hoods, existing in
laid flooring and associated plywood subfloor, removal of forced hot
water heater in each kitchen, replace/rewire kitchen electrical with
new wiring, install new plywood subfloor, instill new in laid flooring.
This is not all inclusive. Work is to be performed at USCG family
housing, Gouin Village, Nantucket, Ma. (Nantucket County) SIC: IS 1522.
Performance period is two (2) weeks per unit Estimated Cost of this
project is under $100,000 -- $250,000. SOLICITATION PACKAGES TO BE

to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and is
unrestricted. The following NOTICE IS PROVIDED AS INFORMATON FOR
MINORITY, WOMEN-OWNED, AND DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES: The Dept
of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business
Utilization (OSDBU) has a program to assist minority, women-owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquired short-term capital and
bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is
applicable to any prime subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding
Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment and
performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an
80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are
available under the DOT Short-term Lending Program (STLP) at prime
interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The max. line
