This acquisition is being offered for competition limited to eligible 8(a) concerns subject to Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 1542. This solicitation is restricted to firms in the developmental stage of program participation (first four years in the 8(a) program), and this office will only accept offers from those firms that have a bona fide place of business in Wyoming and Colorado. Award shall not be made to any firm having more than four (4) years within the 8(a) program as of the closing date of this solicitation. The project is located at F. E. Warren AFB, WY. The one story brick and frame historic building of approximately 11,000 SF will require selective interior construction; new restrooms; new finishes throughout including flooring, ceilings and paintings; new interior and exterior doors, frame, hardware; new windows and trim; new signage; upgrade mechanical and electrical systems; new lighting; and upgrade communication and special systems. Performance period for resultant construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be 250 calendar days. Magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Issue date for this solicitation is anticipated to be on or about 7 Mar 2000 with closing date 30 calendar days after issuance. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal_Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT). Under PPT, past performance will be evaluated.
