The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision to clean HVAC ducts, registers, diffusers and grills located throughout buildings 1595 and 1990 at the Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, Virginia. All current MSDS documentation and safety certifications shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer prior to commencement of work. Mechanical cleaning operations shall be undertaken only with particulate collection equipment in place. All reasonable precautions shall be taken to control odors. Air-volume control devices shall be marked prior to cleaning and upon completion, restored to their marked positions. Any ceiling sections removed to gain access to openings during the cleaning process will be reinstalled by Contractor. All applicable federal, state, and local safety requirements will be observed. NADCA and NAIMA standards and recommendations for cleaning fibrous glass insulated components shall be followed. The Standard Industrial Classifiction Code is 1711 and the Size Standard is $7 million dollars. This solicitation is SET ASIDE for small business. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This is a firm fixed price contract. A site visit will be held on 28 February 2000 at 2:00 P.M.
