The work consists of maintenance dredging of the Channel to Tangier Sound to a depth of 9 feet MLLW, the Channel to Chesapeake Bay to a depth of 8 feet MLLW, and the Basin to a depth of 8 feet MLLW, each with one foot of allowable overdepth. The work, including allowable overdepth and estimated accretion to 1 May 2000, involves dredging approximately 65,000 cubic yards of material to be transported and deposited in the Government-furnished shoreline placement site by hydraulic pipeline. Magnitude of Construction is estimated to be between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Duration of construction is 50 calendar days. This is a 100% small business set aside. SIC Code 1629 applies.
