Notwithstanding the limitations of the current economic price adjustment clause of this solicitation, abnormal price swings in the affected commodity (Polyethylene) does not preclude contractor from requesting an adjustment in price beyond what the EPA clause allows. Contractor would have to support their position through the submission of appropriate indexes or other relevant information. This amendment also extends the date set for receipt of offers.
