E-MAIL: DAAD05-00-T-7192, tswgbaa@tswg.gov. The Army Materiel Command Acquisition Center (AMCAC), Aberdeen Proving Ground, is soliciting concepts for innovative research and development projects. The mission areas are: Personnel Protection; Investigative Support and Forensics; and Surveillance, Collection and Operations Support. AMCAC is the procuring office for this Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the Combating Terrorism Technology Support Office (CTTSO) Technical Support Working Group (TSWG). The BAA package itself will be available only from the following website, www.tswg.net. The BAA process constitutes a solicitation of concepts from those offerors capable of satisfying the government's needs. The Government encourages non-profit organizations, educational institutions, small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, government laboratories, and HBCU/MI's, foreign contractors, as well as large businesses, to submit research concepts for consideration. The BAA selection process will be conducted in three phases fully described in the BAA package available from the web site. The package describes the full process for the concept submission and evaluation as well as specific requirements for the mission areas. Potential offerors are encouraged to download the BAA package from the web site at a minimum of fifteen days from the published date of this synopsis.
