This standing solicitation for Multiple Award Schedule 871 II, Energy Management Services, will be posted on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) on the Internet at http://www.eps.gov on or about Feb. 29, 2000. This standing solicitation will be issued on the basis of unrestricted, full and open competition, under SIC 8711. This solicitation does not have a closing date for receipt of offers. This Worldwide Federal Supply Schedule does not have a prescribed beginning and ending date; the schedule period will be continuous. Indefinite Deliver/Indefinite Quanity contracts will be awarded, allowing for Labor Hour Task Orders based on Firm Fixed Prices. Contract periods will commence on the date of award (DOA) and expire five (5) years from the DOA (unless extended five years under the Option to Extend the Term of the Contract clause). The solicitation also includes the Economic Price Adjustment clause. Vendors are responsible for payment to Dun and Bradstreet for a past performance evaluation. The types ofcommercial services (and Special Item Numbers) are as follows: Energy Management Program Support (SIN 871-200); Energy Audit Services (871-201); Managing the Procurement and Use of Natural Gas (871-203); Managing the Procurement and Use of Electricity (871-204); Managing the Procurement and Use of Energy from Renewable Sources (871-205); Introduction of New Service (871-299). The solicitation does not include Energy Savings Performance Contracting. Prices for SINs 871-200 and 871-201 will be requested FOB Destination; prices for SINs 871-203, 871-204, and 871-205 will be requested FOB Origin. Contractors will provide services to Federal ordering agencies as specified in task orders issued under this schedule. Domestic and/or overseas performance will be required.
