J -- COMPLETE OVERHAUL OF A 673 TON TRANE CHILLER SOL F41622-00-T-1206 DUE 022800 POC Julie Sedlock (210) 536-6213 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number is F41622-00-T-1206 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business. Standard Industrial Code is 3585 and Size Standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for complete overhaul of a 673-Ton Trane Chiller. Model Number CVHE-080-NAC, Serial Number L82G05722. Work to include the repair or replacement of all worn parts and assemblies in accordance with the Statement of Work. Contract Line Item 0001 is for the teardown and quote to overhaul the chiller. Contract Line Item 0002 is for the laborrate to be used in repair of the chiller. Quote shall include price for tear down and assembly, hourly rate, and commercial price list for parts. Work shall be done in a manner that prevents chill water outages or deficiencies during the normal work schedule of Mon-Fri 0730-1600. The Service Contract Act applies and the applicable Wage Determination is Number 94-2521, Revision No. 18, dated Jun 01, 1999. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 applies. The clause at FAR 52.214-5 applies with the inclusion of (b)(6)-(10), and (c)(1). The lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror will be awarded this contract. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the CEGS Contract Specifications, Air Force Regulations, National Electric Code, OSHA Requirements, AFOSH Standards. Qualified personnel must have a minimum of five-(5) year's experience in chiller repair.
