The Corps of Engineers has a need for a contract for Electrical and Mechanical Rehabilitation, Lock and Dam 5, Allegheny River, Pennsylvania. The work includes the replacement of diesel generator, installation of a Government-furnished air compressor, installing new service water pump, installing new hydraulic system piping, new miter gate operating machinery, new valve operating machinery, concrete demolition and concrete replacement, electrical work, and various architectural and structural modifications to powerhouse building including demolition and concrete work, carpentry, drywall, painting, electrical work and other items of work. The period of performance will be 360 calendar days. Magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
