THIS SOLICITATION IS CLASSIFIED AS UNRESTRICTED. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision, and transportation to perform complete conversion of interior rooms to suites and upgrading the common areas of the corridors, lobby, etc. Site improvements to correct drainage and reduce maintenance. The room conversions will convert the remaining portion of the building into suites following the facility plan for total interior refurbishment including interior demolition of walls, ceilings, floors and finishes, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc. Construction of walls, floors, ceilings, fixtures, casework, and finishes, with mechanical plumbing and electrical upgrades to support the new plan. Exterior repairs to finish systems will also be included. Site work will correct drainage problems around the building and provide foundation planting to protect the building exterior. The SIC Code is 1522, General Contractor; Residential Building Other Than Single Family. The size standard is $17,000,000.00. The estimated range for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The estimated time for completion is 300 calendar days. The estimated solicitation release date is 03/15/00. The Government intends on issuing the solicitation through the use of the Internet only. All prospective offerors and plan rooms must register on the web-site.
