The Naval Air Systems Commands intends to negotiate with Northrop Grumman Corporation, 609 South Oyster Bay Road, Bethpage, New York 11714, to complete the retrofit of one E-2C Mission Computer Upgrade aircraft to the Hawkeye 2000 configuration. This contract will include the material procurement of one Hawkeye 2000 kit and the installation of this kit. Northrop Grumman is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the E-2C Aircraft and the only source with the requisite knowledge, facilities, information and expertise to accomplish this effort.
