The Coastal Systems Station has a requirement for the fabrication of
forty (40) production electronic enclosures. The Enclosures will be
used with the U.S. Navy Airborne Mine Countermeasures (AMCM)
community's new navigation director. As part of this effort, the
contractor will discuss any perceived problems with the drawing package
with the appropriate Government representative. The contractor must
then prepare preliminary revision notices using the Notice of Revision
form provided as Government Furnished Information. Upon completion of
fabrication of the first enclosure, the contractor shall conduct a
Physical Configuration Audit (PCA) on the first enclosure with
Government representation. The unit shall be fully assembled for this
PCA. The contractor, with the government, shall accomplish this PCA
using Section 5.6.3 of MIL-STD-973 for guidance. The hardware shall
conform to the drawings. The contractor shall record the results of the
PCA and provide the results to the government in report form. After
successful acceptance testing of the first enclosure, the contractor
shall deliver 40 complete enclosures within 75 days after contract
award. A technical proposal is required. Requests for the solicitation
shall be referred to the Contract Specialist referenced above. This is
