The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to procure the following items through Other Than Full and Open Competition, for the specific make and model items listed below: CLIN 0001 -- HP T520/4-way to T520/8-way Upgrade; CLIN 0002 -- Increase memory to 3.75Gb (maximum memory capacity for HP-UX10.2), CLIN 0002AA -- Model # A2588A, 1 x 512Mb memory, CLIN 0002AB -- Model #A2589A, 3 x 768Mb memory, (memory configured for highest interleaving performance); CLIN 0003 -- 2 x Model 12H AutoRaid Enclosures configured with, 2 x Model # A3706A, 96MB Controllers, and 8 x Model # A3710A, 18.2GB Disk Drives; CLIN 0004 -- 4 x Model # 28696A, FWD SCSI Interface (one interface per 12H controller); CLIN 0005 -- 1 x Model # A1829A, Dual Channel Adapter; CLIN 0006 -- 1 x Model # A1828A, HP-PB Expansion Slot; CLIN 0007 -- 1 x Model # A1897A, 1.6 Meter Cabinet; CLIN 0008 -- 4 x Model # A3710A, HP 18.2GbB Disk Drives for Model 12H AutoRaid; Maintenance for the above items for a 12 month period, as follows: CLIN 0009 -- Model # A5239A, Maintenance for 4 x HP 18Gb Drives; CLIN 0010 -- Model # A3346A, Maintenance for 4 x T520 CPU Memory; CLIN 0011 -- Model # A3700, Maintenance for 2 x 12H AutoRaid enclosures with, 2 x 96Mb Controllers, 16 x 18.2Gb Drives, 4 x FWD SCSI Interface, 1 x Dual Channel Adapter, 1 x HP-PB Expansion Slot, and 1 x 1.6 Meter Cabinet. Refurbished & Remanufactured Equipment is acceptable. Items will include all cables and terminators. All items will include the manufacturer's standard warranty. At the time of shipment, the vendor shall provide the serial numbers of the items to be shipped. The above items will be used to upgrade the HPT520 computer system, which is the primary system utilized in the AEGIS Computer Center (ACC) to support the Program Generation portion of the ACC Lifetime Support Engineering Agent (LSEA) mission. Items will be used to upgrade an existing ACC HPT520 system thereby requiring compatibility (equipment and applications) with the developers and the AEGIS fleet to ensure the ACC can support its lifecycle support engineering mission and deliver quality AEGIS computer programs to the fleet. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition procedures. This notice shall serve as a combined synopsis/solicitation. The closing date is 29 February 2000. Anticipated award date is 7 March 2000. All items are to be priced FOB Destination Dahlgren, VA. Delivery shall be 10 days after award. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY (CBD) NOTICE.
