70 -- COMPREHENSIVE FORM DESIGN SOFTWARE AND SUPPORT SOL 51_SO-BC-0-00021 DUE 030600 POC Contract Specialist is Gordon Randall, Phone 812-218-3351 The Bureau of the Census (BOC) intends to acquire on an other than full and open competition basis services and products of Coronado Group, LTD and Microsystems Technology, Inc to provide software, installation, training and support for Uni-Form form design software and related items to be used in conjunction with the Workflow Image Processing System (WIPS) developed by Feith Systems and Software. It is the belief that because of Coronado's in depth knowledge of the BOC's methods and systems for image storage and retrieval, a competitive acquisition would require a substantial duplication of cost to the Government and create unacceptable delays in fulfilling the BOC's mission for the Decennial Census. Sources capable of meeting this requirement are invited to respond to this announcement by submitting information that includes their technical capabilities, pricing and any other information which demonstrates their ability to meet this need. This information provided will only be considered if it shows clear and convincing evidence of the ability to fulfill the Government's requirement, and that it is advantageous for the Government to consider such sources.
