TROIA, Contracting Officer (703)-602-0201, Ext 430 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue orders on multiple occasions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-00-G-04003 with Litton Marine Systems, Inc., 1070 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22901-2891. Orders will be issued to inspect and remove the in-place inertial navigation equipment; to receive, inspect, repair, alter, and maintain the Government Furnished Inertial Navigation Systems (AN/WSN-7(V)) and Government Furnished Ring Laser Gyrocompass (AN/WSN-7B(V)); and to provide replacement spares/components and Pre-Planned Product Improvement (P3I) for the Government Furnished Inertial Navigation Systems (AN/WSN-7(V)) and Government Furnished Ring Laser Gyrocompass (AN/WSN-7B(V)). Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Litton Marine Systems, Inc. is the designer and sole producer of the Inertial Navigation System (AN/WSN-7(V)) and the Government Furnished Ring Laser Gyrocompass (AN/WSN-7B(V)). It is the only company which possesses the knowledge, experience and resources necessary to perform the tasks described within the time required. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirement.
