announcement constitutes the only request for quotation. Quotes are
requested and a written quotation will not be issued. This acquisition
is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The applicable Standard
Industrial Code (SIC) is 1795. PROVIDE ALL LABOR, PLANT, SUPPLIES,
MATERIAL, EQUIPMENT, TRANSPORTATION AND SUPERVISION NECESSARY TO
PERFORM ALL OPERATIONS TO DEMOLISH FOLLOWING: (1) Demolish complete the
HAZMAT Storage Buildings 629 and 631, and remove underground tank from
previously demolished Bldg 632 located on Pope Air Force Base NC. The
site of the buildings is shown on the attached map. (2) All concrete,
metal, glass, wood and any other materials not naturally occurring
within 15' of the existing footprint of the HAZMAT Storage Buildings
shall be disassembled and hauled off of base at the contractor's
expense. The Fort Bragg landfill may be used after filling out all
appropriate paperwork and obtaining a permit from the Fort Bragg
Environmental Office, Phone# 910-396-3372. Buildings 629 and 631 have
asbestos containing materials. The asbestos containing materials shall
be removed and disposed of in accordance with Specification Section
02080, which is attached to this Statement of Work. Asbestos testing
results are attached to this Statement of Work for contractor
reference. (3) Building 632 has been previously demolished and contains
an underground storage tank. The underground storage tank shall be
removed and disposed of in accordance with Specification Section 02071
which is attached to this Statement of Work. (4) Once the construction
materials are demolished and removed from the base, the areas shall be
saw cut, back filled and new asphalt shall be placed so that they are
at the same elevation as the surrounding area. (5) The as-built
drawings for Buildings 629, 631 and 632 are attached to this Statement
of Work for reference. The buildings to be demolished are included in,
but are not limited to, these as-built drawings. (6) Contractor shall
coordinate with the contracting officer to ensure that all utility
lines are marked before any digging and/or demolition is accomplished.
There may be utility lines within the construction site that shall not
be disturbed. The contractor shall coordinate with the contracting
officer to ensure that any utility lines in use are not damaged or
disturbed during any portion of this contract. (7) Explosives shall not
be used on Pope AFB as part of this project. (8) A copy of the
Statement of Work (SOW) and the layout map can be requested by faxing

Visit can be requested by calling Karl J. Miller at 910-394-4075. (10)
All responsible sources may submit an offer, which if received in a
timely manner will be considered by this agency. All proposals are due
