EMBEDDED TRAINING CONFERENCE AND SEMINAR The Embedded Training Conference and Workshop is an inaugural event to discuss and examine embedded training technologies and to engage in dialogue with senior government officials as to requirements for implementation of these concepts in new programs. The need to achieve and maintain higher and more complex skill levels in a time of reduced resources and reduced force structure is a problem all services must confront. Advanced training concepts such as embedded training seem to offer solutions to these incompatibilities since training would move from the traditional classroom/simulator to the operational platform with attendant reductions in training infrastructure. The conference will feature presentations from senior DoD policy makers and from the leaders of important new programs. Further, the seminars will provide an opportunity for participants to reach common ground on concept definition and potential architecture implementation.
