This is a 100% small business set-aside requirement. Requirement is for
a U.S. flag self-sustaining tug and ro/ro barge unit(s) with equipment
to include ramps or other equipment to facilitate ro/ro operations.
Minimum shaft horsepower for tug is 2000. Tug and barge unit(s) must
have cranes and material handling equipment at port of debarkation.
Vessel must furnish all lashing gear. Cargo is 15,731 (+/- 10% CHOP) of
rolling stock from Cap-Haitien, Haiti to Beaumont, TX
commencing/cancelling 13/14 MAR 2000. Terms are free in/liner out.
Cargo extremes are longest -- 609 in, widest 115 in, tallest 159 in,
