foreign flag self-sustaining breakbulk or ro/ro vessel(s) capable of
transporting 52,000 (+/- 10% CHOP) sq ft of military cargo including
ro/ro. Cargo extremes are longest 500 in, widest 138 in, tallest 166
in, heaviest 18 short tons. Vessel must be equipped to load and
discarge ammunition containers. Vessel must have a minimum speed of 10
knots. Vessel must provide sufficient number of 40 ft spreader bars
attached d-rings, capable of lifting at least 30 tons of cargo to be
provided by the owner for each shipment. Vessel maximum allowable loa
is 700 ft and maximum allowable draft is 9.6 meters. Terms are free
in/free out. Laydays are 01/02 APR 2000. Loading port is Naha, Japan
