The work includes but is not limited to removal of three boiler systems including expansion tanks, piping, flues and underground fuel storage tanks and all accessories. The provision of new boiler system and provisions for common primary pumping and piping system routed through the building to replace the three individual boiler systems. The project includes selective demolition, patching and repairing of ceiling and walls to accommodate this work. The work includes the removal of asbestos containing materials and exposure precautions of lead containing materials. Portions of the work require sequencing. Additionally, portions of the building are considered a secure facility and will require security escorts throughout the construction. The time for completion is 462 days. The estimated cost range is $250,000 to $500,000. The Sic code for this project is 1711. This project is advertised on an unrestricted basis.
