DESC: Twelve individual oil coolers for generator thrust bearings are required. Oil coolers are for English Electric generator units. Each oil cooler will be single pass type with 14 rows of coiled smooth tube, coil consists of 42 complete turns, approximate total length per coil is 225 feet. Seamless copper-nickel tubes are 1-1/8 inch o.d. Coolers are designed for 75 psi operating water pressure and pressure tested to 112 psi. Oil coolers are to be fabricated and delivered to McNary Dam, Umatilla, Oregon.
