Wadsack. (210) 652-5180 DESC: The 12th Contracting Squadron at Randolph AFB, TX, intents to award a firm fixed-price Purchase Order pursuant to FAR 13.5 for the purchase of Audio Visual Equip. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), Solicitation F416191-99T0470. The solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97 -- 15. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns, utilizing the Size Standard in FAR Part 19 under Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 3651, and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed price Purchase Order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). SPECIFICATION OF SYSTEM: CLIN 0001: AV Equipment 1 Assembly The contractor shall provide a high quality Audio Visual Equipment System for the Conference Room in Bldg 575 at Randolph AFB. Must be Y2K compliant, which meets or exceeds the requirements outlined below. All items are _brand name or equal_ per the salient characteristics identified (if applicable). Item # 1.
