The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a purchase order for the lease of one (1) extended 15-passenger van. The lease shall be of a new, year 2000 model, which shall meet the attached basic specifications. In addition, an alternative-fueled (dual-fuel) vehicle is preferred; duel fuels considered gasoline and compressed natural gas (CNG). The lease shall include a base period with three (3) option periods. The base period shall run from the date of delivery for twelve months; Note: current year funding is available only through 09/30/2000, year 2001 funding is subject to the availability of funds on fiscal year 2001 budget. all interested small businesses quoting on this RFQ shall provide make and model specifications along with delivery date, (delivery of the vehicle shall occur no later than 04/21/2000), pricing (including monthly mileage allowance, and excess mileage rate), past performance references, to include a point of contact (POC) with phone numbers for each, and commercial price lists and Government discounts offered. Award will be made based equally on meeting the required delivery date, monthly lease price and will be made at the "Best value" to the Government.
