NASA/MSFC plans to issue a competitive Request for Offer (RFO) via the internet, on or about April 3, 2000 for the lease / purchase, support, and maintenance of themal control units (TCU) for use in the International Space Station and on Space Shuttle flights. Agency will consider whether to lease or purcahse equipment based on evaluation of comparable costs and other factors. An Acceptance Data Package (ADP) shall be required to cover the equipment to be supplied by the vendor. A complete set of specifications and requirements can be viewed on the related documents which are attached tothis RFI. This document is for information and planning purposes and to allow industry the opportunity to verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirement, as well as promote competition.
