Y -- RENOVATION OF PHARMACIES SOL 541-046-00 DUE 032800 POC Dara Greene, Contract Specialist (440) 526-3030 Ext. 7414 or 7415 DESC: The Louis Stokes, Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Acquisition & Material Management Service (A&MMS), Room A104, 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141, wishes to procure construction services to renovate two (2) Veterans Affairs (VA) Pharmacies. The Veterans Affairs Project Numbers 541-99-141, entitled Pharmacy Renovation, Building 2(B), and 541-99-143, Pharmacy Renovation Building 1(B), respectively. A prospective contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, supplies, etc., necessary to accomplish all work in strict compliance with the specifications and drawings or as reasonably implied. Work includes, but is not limited to, renovation of the existing pharmacy areas located in buildings 1 and 2, finishes, utility connections, demolition, hauling debris. The contractor shall be required to submit a construction phasing plan to keep each pharmacy operational during construction as indicated on the contract drawings and as specified in specification section 01010, entitled "General Requirements." Each prospective contractor shall visit each respective job site to verify all existing conditions, conduct necessary surveys, and to ascertain the extent and complexity of the construction work. Each project requires the work to be completed in accordance with VA specifications and drawings, Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA), National Electric Codes, National Fire Protection Association, and Joint Commission Accreditation Health Organization (JCAHO) requirements. Time to complete each project is 120 calendar days after issuance and subsequent receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The Cost Range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This solicitation is Set-Aside under the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program. The Standard Industry Classification (SIC) is 1542 and the Size Standard is $17.0 million. Interested HUBZone concerns shall submit a written request to the Contracting Officer accompanied by a $50.00 NON-REFUNDABLE FEE.
