Project is to replace existing Insulated Roof Membrane Assembly (IRMA) of the main building, including membrane, flashing, counter flashing, insulation, and ballast pavers. New IRMA roof system to be Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) loose laid membrane. New penthouse roof system to be modified bitumen built-up complete, including new reglets and counter flashing. Roof area is approximately 130,000 square feet, in six modules. Modules vary in height from 2 to five stories, and the roof of each module has a mechanical penthouse and some miscellaneous equipment. Project will replace existing 1,800 square foot skylight with a new monitor unit. Work will be performed at the Anchorage Federal Building and US Courthouse, 222 W 7th Ave, Anchorage, AK. The order of magnitude for this procurement is between $1,000,000 -- $5,000,000. This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The SIC Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 1761 and $7.0M,respectively. The anticipated release date of the IFB is on or about March 17, 2000 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about April 18, 2000.
