Provide Military Family Housing Maintenance Services to cover maintenance of the interior and exterior of 1549 housing units at Dover AFB to include equipment, appliances, garages, fences, storage sheds and playgrounds in a timely and professional manner to achieve clean, safe and livable conditions. Housing maintenance includes, but is not limited to maintain facility files, service calls, change of occupancy maintenance, appliance repair and/or replacement, recurring maintenance, operate self help store, playground maintenance, disaster response work special improvement/repairs and asbestos abatement. Period of performance: 1 MAY 00 -- 31 MAR 01, with four option periods, 1 APR 01 through 31 MAR 02, 1 APR 02 through 31 MAR 03, 1 APR 03 through 31 MAR 04 and 1 APR 04 through 31 MAR 05. This project is 100% set-aside nationally under the Competitive 8A Program. The solicitation will be available over the Internet only, NO HARD COPIES WILL BE SENT. Once determined to be technically acceptable, an integrated assessment of the Offeror's price and past performance will be performed. The Government award will be based on "best value" with the evaluation factors to be set forth in the solicitation. The government reserves the right to award to other than the lowest price. If the Contracting Officer determines that the number of proposals that would otherwise be in the competitive range exceeds the number at which an efficient competition can be conducted, the Contracting Officer may limit the number of proposals in the competitive range to the greatest number that will permit an efficient competition among the most highly rated proposals.
