Work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide ADA & NFPA upgrades which include, but limited to, total removal of interior finishes and demolition of selected interior walls to accomodate a new floor plan layout for four (4) bathrooms with new water closets. Existing electrical, plumbing and heating will be modified. Also, new siding, roof shingles, attic and wall insulation will be required in all five (5) campus buildings. The plans and specifications use International System of Units (SI) metric equivalent measurements. Project completion time is estimated to be 180 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated construction cost is between $250,000 and $500,000. The proposed contract listed herein is set aside for 51% Indian-owned, controlled, and operated firms under the authority of the Buy Indian Act. In accordance with the Public Health Service Acquisition Regulation Paragraph 380.503(e), not more than fifty (50) percent of the work to be performed under a prime contract awarded pursuant to the Buy Indian Act shall be subcontracted to other than Indian firms.
