This is a market survey to locate additional sources of Switches, Overspeed used in conjunction with the Department of defense MIL-STD family of Diesel Engine Driven Generator Sets. This market survey does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the government. Detailed technical data for the manufacturer or acceptance of these items is available from the Army. Suppliers capable of manufacturing this item must so indicate, by writing to the Power/Environmental Division, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-G-GN(Petouses), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5064. Manufacturers are required to warrant that the Switch, overspeed will be a suitable replacement when used for the purpose intended by the Army. The response must include documentation such as drawings or other technical information demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, manufacture a Switch, Overspeed that will be physically and functionally interchangeable as the Switch, Overspeed being used on the existing Department of Defense MIL-STD family of Diesel Engine Driven Generator Sets. In addition it is requested that the potential manufacturers provide this office with a time frame as to when a quantity of 3750ea. will be available to the field units after a contract award is made.
