This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a sole source procurement and NASA/KSC intends to make a purchase from Real-Time Innovations, Inc. Real-Time Innovations, Inc., is the only known source that can meet the minimum requirements of the Government for this procurement. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the following: ITEM NO. 1 -ControlShell Software Maintenance and Updates. To extend maintenance on 25 ControlShell Host Licenses through 3/31/2001. P/N CS-U-SPT-50. Quantity: 1 LOT (consisting of 58 seats). ITEM NO. 2 -- StethoScope Software Maintenance and Updates. To extend maintenance on 25 StethoScope Host Licenses bove through 3/31/2001. P/N SS-U-SPT-50. Quantity: 1 LOT (consisting of 53 seats). ITEM NO. 3 -- ControlShell Read-Only Software Maintenance and Updates. To extend maintenance on 50 ControlShell Read-Only Licenses through 3/31/2001. P/N CSR-U-SPT-50. Quantity: 1 LOT (consisting of 50 seats). Maintenance is to include technical support, software updates, and manual updates. DELIVERY -- All Items are to be delivered to NASA, Kennedy Space Center, Florida. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE -- Period of performance for the maintenance in all Items is to be for the period of 4/1/2000 through 3/31/2001. Monthly billing is required. This procurement is being conducted under the NASA Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The FAR provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through the FAC 97-15. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO C-9. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the Offeror shall so state and shall list the country of origin. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 7372 and $18 Million, respectively. The Offeror shall state in its offer the size status for this procurement. All Items are required to be Year 2000 compliant. Offers (including FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items) are due by 12:00 Noon, Eastern Time, on March 3, 2000, to the address and identified point of contact as specified above.
