The Government intends to purchase on a sole source basis software support and updates for proprietary Quicksilver Licenses from InterLeaf, 62 Fourth Ave., Waltham, MA 02451. This is a commercial item. Interleaf is the developer, designer and manufacturer of this software and holds proprietary rights in data in providing support of QuickSilver software. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 7371 with a size standard of $18.0 million. The contract shall be a firm fixed priced contract for a six-month period through 30 September 2000. FOB Destination shall apply. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be used. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation Number is N00178-00-Q-1025.
