74 -- PRODUCTION COPIER SOL RFQ R5-15-00-27 DUE 030600 POC Technical: Gilbert Massiatt, Contracting Officer, (559) 297-0706 x 4835 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial simplified acquisition items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement consistutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. RFQ R5-15-00-27, this number must be referenced on all communications and quotations. The request for quotations document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. The Sequoia National Forest is upgrading its present copier capabilities to increase efficiency, reduce operating expenses and add booklet creation ability. This acquisition is a brand name or equal too the Xerox 5800 High Production Copier with Interposer for creation of booklets. The following are mandatory salient characteristics that must be met: provide 120 copies per minute (8.5 x 11), provide 80 copies per minute (11X17), 100 sheet document handler. The accquition of the copier will be line item 001. Line item 002 is 12 month Full Service Maintenance Plan. Line item 003 is Training on the operation of the high speed copier. Will consider additional guote on a 60 month rental or lease of the brand name or equal copier. Copier will have to be delivered to: 900 West Grand Avenue, Porterville, California. Copier is to be delivered and installed not later than 30 days of receipt of order before close of business (1630). In submission of the quote, submit a credit for the existing Xerox 5100 copier.
