There is an additive item for an additional estimated 302.9 kilometers of Level II road maintenance which may be awarded if funding allows. Work on Level II and Level III roads consists of removing logs, rocks, minor slides, debris, washouts, cleaning catchbasins, ditches, and other drainage structures. This requires at least one backhoe/loader. In addition, Level III road maintenance consists of surface blading with grader and water truck.
