epp@bop.gov. The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having
the ability to provide Residential Community Sanctions Center(CSC)
services and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment(TDAT) services in one of
the following counties in Ohio: Summit, Medina, Stark, Portage or
Tuscarawas for male and female Federal offenders sentenced under
various United States Statutes. Services required include subsistence,
care, custody, control, accountability, counseling, intake
assessments, and treatment to include furnishing medical and dental
treatment. The services shall be performed in accordance with the
Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work entitled, "Community
Sanctions Center", dated January 2000 and the Federal Bureau of Prisons
Statement of Work entitled "Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment(TDAT)",
dated November 16, 1999. The location of the facility must be in one of
the following counties in Ohio: Summit, Medina, Stark, Portage or
Tuscarawas. The ratio of male/female inmates is 84 percent male, 16
percent female. A Firm-Fixed-Price-Requirements type contract is
anticipated with a two year base period and three one year option
periods. Line item one is Community Sanctions Center(CSC) services. The
estimated number of inmate days for line item one for the base period
is 16,790. The estimated number of inmate days for line item one for
option year one is 9,125. The estimated number of inmate days for line
item one for option year two is 9,125. The estimated number of inmate
days for line item one for option year three is 10,220. Line item two
is Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment(TDAT) services. Estimated line
item two, TDAT services, for the base period are 140 intake
assessments, 3,360 half-hour sessions of individual counseling, and
6,720 half-hour sessions of group counseling. Estimated line item two,
TDAT services, for each of the first, second and third option years
are 70 intake assessments, 1,680 half-hour sessions of individual
counseling and 3,360 half-hour sessions of group counseling. TDAT
services must be provided by a provider licensed in the state of Ohio
for substance abuse counseling. The estimated issuance date for the
Request for Proposals(RFP)200-0598-MA is April 28, 2000. The estimated
closing date for RFP200-0598-MA is June 28, 2000. All responsible
sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency.
