The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire aircraft ground services and organizational level maintenance services in support of E-2C (Group 0) aircraft of the E-2C Reserve Airborne Early Warning Squadron stationed at the Naval Air Station (NAS), Atlanta, GA. The squadron is VAW 77 and has four (4) E-2C Group 0 aircraft with wide-band SATCOM. The contractor shall furnish services to provide for organizational maintenance including associated support equipment powerplants, airframes, aviation life support systems, avionics, electrical systems and flight line services in order to meet the flight program and daily mission requirements. The period of performance will consist of a basic period of 12 months and will contain four (4) twelve (12) month option periods. The anticipated start date for the requirement is 1 October 2000. The estimated level of effort is 74,880 hours per year. It is anticipated that a labor-hour contract will be issued. The RFP closing date specified above is based on an anticipated RFP issue date of 31 March 2000. This is a full and open competitive procurement.
