J -- UPGRADE EXISTING X-RAY SECURITY SYSTEM UTILIZING EXISTING EQUIPMENT WHERE AVAILABLE SOL 1443-FB-1940-A0-002 POC Delores Thompson-Gad, Contracting Officer or Kathy Craine, Procurement Technician The National Park Service intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with PerkinsElmer, Inc. for the upgrade of the existing EG&G Linescan 10 security system. The upgrade includes but is not limited to the following: A) increase monitor size to 17" B)ability to archive and date/time stamp images going throgh the machine C) individual "sign-in" codes for operators D) ability to store "example or test" images that can be randomly programmed to appear on the screen E) video output capacity F) printer output capacity G) self diagnosing software with modem to advise parent office H) a "virtual" footpad I) 12 bit in both vertical and horizontal views J) provide repalcement machine during upgrade and training on updated machines.
