The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), St. Inigoes, MD has identified a requirement to modify contract N00123-94-C-5201 with Trandes Corporation, 4601 Presidents Drive, Lanham, MD. The purpose of the modification is to extend the period of performance for an additional one month of services (April 2000), with options for an additional two months of services (May/June 2000). It is the intent of this office to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). Trandes Corporation is currently providing operation and maintenance services at each of the six Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Centers (FACSFAC) located in the continental United States, and the two FACSFAC sites located abroad in Hawaii and Puerto Rico respectively. The company is therefore uniquely qualified to provide a continuation of these flight-mission critical support services for this short term period oftime needed to process award of the follow-on contract.
