F015 WELL DRILLING/F021 SITE PREPARATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information as included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being sought for Power Equipment Operators, one (1) operator proficient in the use of Self Contained Track Drills equivelent in size to an Ingersoll-Rand EMC370 type track drill; two 2) operators proficient in the use of track excavators equivalent in size to a Hitachi EX450LC Hydraulic Excavator. Solicitation number for this RFQ: DTFH70-00-RFQ-0007 is a Request for Quotation; Background: In accordance with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, the U.S. Military and the Metlakatla Indian Community, a roadway project is under construction that will eventually connect the town of Metlakatla to a ferry terminal to be constructed on the North end of Annette Island. The U.S. Military, through their Innovative Readiness Training Program is currently working on the first phase of the roadway project.
