U -- MOCK JCAHO SURVEY SERVICES FOR VISN 22 SOL RFP 600-072-00 DUE 031600 POC Ronald Ferrer, Contracting Officer, (562) 961-8062 The VISN 22 has a requirement for Mock JCAHO Surveys for facilities located at Long Beach, West Los Angeles, Loma Linda, San Diego and Las Vegas. The purpose of the mock surveys is to identify problems and issues that must be resolved and to develop an action plan that will meet and maintain compliance with JCAHO standards. Contractor shall evaluate compliance with designated functions of the HAP, HC, LTC, AC Free Standing, AC Hospital Based, Behavioral Health, Substance Abuse, HME and Lab Standards. Award will be made on a firm fixed-price basis, in accordance with specified evaluation factors. Mock surveys shall be completed no later than June 1, 2000, with the Contractor providing consultation services through the completion of JCAHO surveys. This procurement is a 100% small business set aside (SIC 8748, $5.0m) solicitation will be issued on/about February 28,2000, with responses due on/about March 16, 2000 at 4:00 PM.
