DESC: Provide all supervision, plant, labor, material and equipment necessary to perform all work as specified and described in the following items in connection with installing/constructing new playground/park & recreation equipment, safety surfacing with edge restraint and other associated structures/sitework throughout Fort Drum including on-post Army Family Housing and off-post Army Community Housing areas located in LeRay, Calcium, Lowville, Copenhagen, Clayton, Carthage, West Carthage, Watertown, Philadelphia and Gouverneur, New York, in strict accordance with statement of work, specifications, drawings and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract documents. The contract type shall be "Firm Fixed Price Construction" (Requirements). This will be an unrestricted procurement issued under the authority of FAR Subpart 19.1006(b)(1), Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1751. This procurement is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000 annually with a base year and two, 1-year option periods. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about March 21, 2000. The DUE DATE for the solicitation shall be 30 days after actual issuance/posting on Fort Drum's Web Page. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered. The solicitation will not be mailed out and no Bidder's Mailing List (BML) will be maintained. The entire bid package will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web page, no hard copies will be provided. All sources wishing to bid are required to monitor the Fort Drum Contracting web page for any/all amendments to the solicitation. Failure to respond to any amendments may render the bid to be considered as non-responsive and thereby rejected.
