The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment,
transportation, mobilization, and demobilization for the construction
of a 2,400 GSF buoy tender support building, utility shore ties for
mooring the buoy tender and a new 9,000 SF concrete slab for buoy
storage. The US Coast Guard facility is located within the Everett city
limits on government owned property at the Naval Station Everett. The
one story masonry building will have spaces for administrative offices,
shops, storage rooms, telecommunication room, battery room, men and
women toilet and locker rooms. Building construction consists of
reinforced concrete footings, structural floor slab, steel rigid frame
columns and steel framing, brick facing masonry units, gypsum wall
board on metal studs with batt insulation on exterior walls and painted
gypsum board on all interior walls. The roof is gable-framed with
standing seam metal roofing. Utility shore ties for the buoy tender
include potable water, fire water, sanitary sewer, power,
telecommunications, bollards and cleats. Included with building are
site work, utilities, mechanical, electrical, services for water,
sanitary, storm drainage, natural gas, power, telecommunications lines
and asphalt paving. Estimated price range is $500,000 to $1 million.
Duration of the project is approximately 7 months. Plans and
specifications will be available on or about 15 March 2000. There is a
nonrefundable charge of $25.00 for each solicitation set. To obtain
