The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) located in Boulder, CO requires fabrication and installation of two signs consisting of three-dimensional painted letters pinned off two existing walls. One wall requires installation of sandstone ashlar facing before application of the letters. There is an option for a third free standing, monument-type sign consisting of sandstone ashlar veneer base, precast concrete and metal panels attached to a concrete core, and three-dimensional painted letters and logo pinned off the precast and metal panels. Local supervision is mandatory. The proposed contract is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Interested sources may request a copy of the RFQ either by phone, written, faxed or e-mailed requests. Anticipated release date of the RFQ is February 28, 2000 with an anticipated receipt of quotation date of April 3, 2000. The award decision will be based upon the best value to the Government, with fabrication experience of monument-type signs being considered as well as price.
