responds to questions regarding Solicitation RFP 865871. QUESTION #1:
Can we be provided with samples of Litton's lenses (1X, 75mm and
162mm)? ANSWER #1: Samples can be provided, upon request. QUESTION #2:
During recent competition, other competitors have offered U.S. Army
trade-in tubes as part of thier offer. Will the FBI accept trade-in
tubes on this program? ANSWER #2: Companies are free to propose
whatever product they deem meets the FBI's requirements as stated in
the solicitation. However, all products proposed will be evaluted to
ensure that they meet the FBI's requirements and minimum needs as
identified in the solicitation. QUESTION #3: If the FBI desires a small
camera format relay lens, what is the mounting interface (i.e. "c" or
"CS") and cover glass thickness of Bureau's small format used to record
night scenes? ANSWER #3: The mounting interface is "C". Posted 02/25/00
