THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED. The solicitation number is All015 and the solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) anticipates that the contract will be awarded as a result of a small business set-aside, firm-fixed price contract. This requirement will be issued under simplified acquisition procedures. The period of performance is 30 working days after award of purchase order. The contractor shall provided materials and installation, management and supervision of card access system as referenced in the Statement of Work (SOW). The associated Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 3699 which has a size standard of 750 employees. Awardwill be made to the lowest price meeting the Government's needs. The following FAR provisions shall apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1, Evaluation-Instructions to Offerors Commercial; 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Item.
