This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request For Quotation (RFQ) F08620-00-T-0099. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. This requirement is issued on an unrestricted basis; the standard industrial classification code is 2399 and the small business standard is 500 employees. Quotes must show at a minimum; 1) The name, address, and telephone number of the offeror; 2) terms of any express warranty; 3) items 1-8 separately priced; 4) Representations and Certifications at FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.212-7000 and 5) quotes submitted are to include a statement specifying the extent of the agreement with all terms and conditions, and provisions included in the solicitation. The quote must be signed by an official authorized to bind your company. Offerors that fail to furnish required representation and certifications, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation, may be excluded from consideration. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, is amended to read: "The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered." The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotes: 1) Fabric type and color samples and 2) price. Price is less important to the other factor when combined.
